Ph.D. "Socio-Culture Dimensions of Abnormanlities" (in Psychiatry Depeartment B.H.U) Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.  Worked as 'Research Assistance' in a project on "Drug Abuse" of H. R. D. Ministry collaboration with Department of Social Work, Universith of Delhi. Workded on an Ethnographic Study on a "Pahari Brahmin Family" of 3 months (their customs and rituals).

Madhusudan Sharma, Vice-president

A finance and legal professional with experience of working with various consulting organizations.

Throughout most of his career he has been associated with voluntary sector organizations in India and Bhutan.

Runs own social organization with several leading lights on its board including former chief justice of India. The organisation focuses on local issues.

Subhash Mittal, Secretary

After working as a Chartered Accountant in UK and in India (with PwC) decided to jump into own consultancy. Chose to work in social development sector, associated with agencies like Unicef, World Bank, Danida and several other bilateral and multilateral agencies. Experience includes public project & organization appraisals, financial management, accountability assurance, public expenditure, developing manuals, etc. Last 2-3 years have focused on Training & capacity building of professionals in social development sector with organising more than 20 training programs.

Deepak Bansal, Treasurer

Deepak Bansal, a Chartered Accountant, having professional experience of almost 22 years in the field of taxation, company and Labour laws, FCRA, etc. He has been advising a large number of NGOs on these and other legal compliance issues. He has undertaken a number of assignments for different funding agencies. He specializes in professional practice in Income Tax, Service Tax, Sales tax. He regularly provides opinions / advisory services in complicated issues. Mr.Bansal has also written articles/papers, which have been published in various reputed magazines, viz. Taxman etc.

Ph.D. from Department of Adult Continuing Extension and Education (Topic - Social and Psychological Correlates of Abuser and Abused in the Elderly Population) University of Delhi.  Worked as 'Counseling Supervisor', GFATM, SAKSHAM project fro HIV/AIDS, Aditi Mahavidalaya, Bhawan, Delhi University. Assistance Professor, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi University.

C. Udaya Shankar, Member

C Udayashankar, M. Sc. (Tech) in Geophysics. Have been working in voluntary sector since 1974 (30years with AFPRO). Retired from AFPRO in June 2003 as Programme Director.  Since 2003 - 2012 worked as Advisor (NRM) with CWS, Hyderabad. Worked as consultant with MISEROR, HIVOS, Karl Kubel Foundation, Netherlands Embassy etc. Assessed over 500 VolAg on Governance with focus on accountability and transparency. Promoted various networks and collaborations on Water Supply, Irrigation, Watersheds, Water & Energy and Livelihoods. Conducted studies on climate change. Published reports and papers on studies of River Basin, Water Harvesting, Water Users associations for various State, Central Governments, National and International agencies.
